🔪 Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the vanilla crescent crust. Chop the vanilla crescents with an electric chopper, or place them in a zip lock bag and crush with a rolling pin. Meanwhile, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Combine the butter and crumbs to form a sandy base.
Step 2: Press the crumb mixture into a springform pan, using a spoon or cup to press it down firmly. Place the pan in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the cream.
Step 3: Make the Christmas cream. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter until creamy. Gradually add the caster sugar, then stir in the cream cheese, cinnamon, and orange zest until well combined.
Step 4: Spread the Christmas cream evenly over the chilled vanilla crescent crust. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 2 hours to set.
Step 5: Just before serving, open the springform pan and transfer the cheesecake to a serving plate.
Step 6: Whip the cream, cinnamon, and icing sugar together in a tall container until stiff. Using a piping bag with a star nozzle, decorate the cheesecake with small dots of whipped cream.
