A Love-Potion Gin Alexander (No Spells Required)
If you're looking for a Valentine's Day cocktail that feels a little like uncorking a love potion (the safe kind, I promise!), this elegant Gin Alexander with white chocolate Mozart liqueur is your new magical signature drink. Creamy, dreamy, softly floral, and shimmering white like fresh snow at Hogwarts, it's the kind of cocktail that makes you sigh after the first sip.

With Hendrick's Flora Adora Gin bringing its whisper of flowers and the white chocolate liqueur adding luxurious sweetness, this is the love-infused treat you'll want to serve someone very special… or simply yourself, because self-love is powerful magic of its own.
But could this be the potion that finally wins your Valentine's heart?
Now come in closer, friend, and let me pour another splash of sweetness into this story. Since we just celebrated National Brandy Alexander Day on January 31st, I thought… why not keep the celebrations going in the dreamiest way?
If you adore sipping your way through the seasons as I do, you'll love browsing my full cocktail collection. For something equally cozy and enchanting, try my autumn-ready Rum Alexander or dive into even more Valentine's magic with my heart-stealing Valentine's Day recipes.
This Gin Alexander also pairs beautifully with the romantic sparkle of my Maraschino Liqueur Cocktail or the floral sweetness in my Valentine's Gin Cocktail. And if you want a sweet little treat to complete the evening? Serve it with Pink Cookies or my dreamy Marbled Heart Cookies. A love potion deserves a matching dessert, don't you think?
And because every mention of a love potion makes me think of that moment in Half-Blood Prince, when Ron gets swept into a cloud of accidental infatuation, I can't help but smile. It's such a reminder of how unpredictable magic can be, especially when it's swirling around unsuspecting Gryffindors.
But this cocktail is the kind of "magic" you get to control. Soft, elegant, and crafted with intention. The sort of love potion that won't send anyone drifting into dramatic declarations of eternal devotion… unless joy counts as a side effect. So gather your gin, your white chocolate liqueur, and let's create something pretty, comforting, and a little enchanting together.
Ready to stir a little magic?

🧐 What Is a Gin Alexander?
A Gin Alexander is a creamy cocktail made with gin, cream, and a liqueur. The classic Brandy Alexander version uses Brandy and crème de cacao, but this modern twist replaces it with white chocolate liqueur for a softer, more elegant Valentine's vibe. If you are into creamy cocktails, you can also try one of my favorite variations, a Rum Alexander! Made with my beloved Kraken Black Spiced Rum! *yum yum*

Notes
Batch Version (Serves 6)
6 oz (180 ml) gin 6 oz (180 ml) Mozart White Chocolate Liqueur 6 oz (180 ml) fresh creamInstruction
Mix ingredients in a large shaker or mixing jug with fresh ice. Shake or stir until cold, then fine strain into six chilled glasses. For the best texture, add the cream and shake just before serving.💭 Top tips
Chill the glass: It keeps the cocktail creamy and refreshing. Fine strain for smoothness: This removes crushed ice bits that would break the spell. No shaker? Use a mason jar with a tight lid and strain through a small sieve. Serve right away: The cream tastes best fresh and frothy.Nutrition values are estimates only, using online calculators.
