Get ready to sip on the sparkle of the season! Our festive cranberry cocktail series continues with a show-stopping Vodka Cranberry Spritzer that’s as delicious as it is dazzling.
This bubbly cocktail combines the crispness of Prosecco with the smooth warmth of vodka, the tart burst of cranberry juice, and the bright citrusy sweetness of orange juice.
Topped off with a sugar rim sprinkled with crystal sugar and pink edible glitter, this drink looks like it was plucked straight from Santa’s workshop. The finishing touch? A garnish of fresh cranberries, a slice of orange, and a sprig of rosemary to bring a wintry forest vibe right to your glass.
Can you imagine anything more festive to serve at your next holiday gathering?
If you’ve been following me for a while, you already know that spritz cocktails are some of my absolute favorites—there’s something about the bubbly elegance of Prosecco that makes every sip feel like a celebration.
On my blog, you’ll find a variety of spritzer cocktails for every occasion, from the summery Melon Spritz to the classic Austrian White Wine Spritzer, not to mention an ever-popular Hugo Spritz. But this Vodka Cranberry Spritz? It’s pure Christmas in a glass. Picture it: the fireplace crackling, Bing Crosby crooning “White Christmas” in the background, and a plate of my leftover egg yolk cookies or a luscious Christmas trifle at your side. This cocktail adds that perfect touch of festive magic, whether you're entertaining guests or treating yourself during a quiet evening in.
So let’s raise a glass to the season of joy, glitter, and cranberries. Ready to make some holiday magic? Let’s dive into the recipe! 🎄

🔪 Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the festive sugar rim
On a plate, combine fine granulated sugar and pink edible glitter. Use a fork to mix them together until evenly distributed.
Step 2: Rim the glass
Take a fresh orange slice, as thick as you want your sugar rim to be, and run it along the edge of your glass. Then gently dip and twist the rim into the pink sugar mixture to create a sparkling candy cane effect. Tap lightly to remove any excess sugar.
Step 3: Add the ice
Drop a handful of ice cubes into the prepared glass to keep things frosty.
Step 4: Build your cocktail
Pour in the vodka, cranberry juice, and orange juice. Then top it all off with a festive splash of Prosecco.
Step 5: Mix and garnish
Give the drink a gentle stir with a bar spoon to combine all the flavors. Finish by garnishing with a sprig of rosemary, a slice of orange, and a few bright cranberries for that perfect Christmassy touch. Cheers! 🎄
