Curious how blackberry liqueur and Coke taste together? Let me tell you… it’s magic in a glass!

We’ve had so much fun using this homemade liqueur in other sips—like the blackberry raspberry gin fizz, our frozen berry milkshake for adults, and the bubbly berry wine spritzer.

This new drink is just as easygoing and perfect for casual get-togethers, BBQ nights, or that 5 p.m. “I need a treat” moment. You’ll find it in our cocktails and drinks section—aka, the happiest place on the blog. 💜

💭 Top tips

This fizzy berry cocktail is as easy to serve as it is to make—but here are a few little touches that make it feel extra special:

  • Glassware
    • I love serving this one in a classic rocks glass, but a highball glass works beautifully too if you want a bit more cola fizz in each sip. And hey, even a mason jar brings a cozy, casual vibe!
  • Ice
    • Fill the glass to the top with ice for maximum chill. Crushed ice works if you like it extra cold and slushy—but regular cubes are perfect too.
  • Garnish
    • A lemon wedge is a must—it adds such a nice aroma as you sip. You could also add a couple of frozen blackberries or raspberries to the glass for a sweet little surprise at the end.
  • Chill factor
    • If you’re making this for guests, pop your glasses in the freezer for 5–10 minutes before serving. It keeps the drink cold longer and looks super frosty and inviting!

To be honest, I wasnt quite sure what the blackberry and lemon would taste like with the cola, but it was fantastic! We had friends over for a BBQ and I wanted something a little different than the same old cocktail. Everyone loved it!
