If you love fruity frozen cocktails, you’re absolutely in the right place. 🔪 Instructions
Step 1: Prep your glasses (optional, but fun!)
If you’d like a pretty rim, run a lime wedge halfway around the rim of each glass. Dip the moistened part into a small plate of salt or sugar. This way your guests can choose if they want a sip with a salty or sweet edge — or keep it plain on the other side.

Step 2: Add everything to the blender
Pop your frozen mixed berries into the blender, then pour in the tequila, Cointreau or triple sec, freshly squeezed lime juice, and raspberry syrup. If you know you like your margaritas extra thick and slushy, add a handful of crushed ice here as well.

Step 3: Blend until smooth and slushy
Blend on high until the mixture is smooth, thick, and beautifully icy. If it looks a bit too thick, you can splash in a tiny bit more lime juice or a spoonful of water. If it’s too thin, add a few more frozen berries or crushed ice and blend again.

Step 4: Taste and adjust
Give it a quick taste (this is the fun quality-control moment!). If your berries are quite tart, you might want a little more raspberry syrup. If it’s a touch too sweet, brighten it up with another squeeze of lime juice and blend briefly to combine.
Step 5: Serve and enjoy right away
Pour the frozen berry margarita into your prepared glasses. Garnish with a lime wedge or a few whole berries on top. Serve immediately with a spoon and a smile — this drink is best enjoyed fresh, icy, and in good company. 🥂

FAQ’s
Can I use fresh berries instead of frozen?
Yes, absolutely — but the texture will change. Fresh berries won’t give you that thick, icy consistency, so you’ll want to add a generous handful of ice cubes to recreate that slushy feel. Frozen berries always blend creamier and colder.
Can I use a different syrup if I don’t have raspberry syrup?
You can! Mixed berry syrup, blackberry syrup, or even strawberry syrup work beautifully here. Just avoid grenadine — it’s much sweeter and will change the flavor. Raspberry syrup gives the most vibrant berry punch, but feel free to use what you have.
How sweet should this margarita be?
Think fruity-tart with a gentle sweetness. You should taste the berries first, then the lime, with just enough syrup to round out the edges. Start small and sweeten to your liking — some berry mixes are naturally sweeter than others.
My blender struggles with frozen fruit — what can I do?
Let your berries rest at room temperature for 3–5 minutes before blending. They’ll soften just enough to help older or smaller blenders. Adding a splash of lime juice at the start also helps everything catch the blades more easily.
Can I make this margarita ahead of time?
Frozen margaritas are always best freshly blended. But if you want a shortcut, you can pre-measure everything into your blender jug and keep it in the fridge. When it’s time to serve, just add the frozen berries and blend — super quick and stress-free.
Is this cocktail very strong?
No — it’s balanced and refreshing. The berry flavor really shines, and the tequila sits gently in the background. If you want it stronger, add an extra half ounce of tequila. If you prefer it lighter, increase the berries slightly or add a splash of water.
Can I make this non-alcoholic?
Definitely! Swap the tequila and triple sec for a non-alcoholic tequila alternative, or simply add more lime juice and raspberry syrup. You’ll still get a gorgeous frozen berry drink with all that pretty color.
