Food & Drink Photography

I create styled food and beverage photography for websites, blogs, newsletters, social media, Pinterest, and brand marketing.

A shoot can include whatever your project actually needs, from a small collection of finished images to a fuller recipe set with:

• ingredient and process shots

• pours and action shots
• horizontal and vertical compositions

My work is especially suited to coffee, cocktails, chocolate, desserts, baking products, specialty ingredients, glassware, and other food and beverage products.

Already Have the Recipe?

Even better.

• You send me your tested recipe and let me know what kind of images you need. I prepare it, style the scene, photograph it, edit the final images, and send the finished collection back to you.
• You keep the recipe, the writing, and the publishing side of your business.
• I take care of the photography.

This works especially well for bloggers and publishers who already have the recipe and writing covered, but need professional photography to complete the content.

Photography for Food & Beverage Brands

For brand projects, I like showing a product in the way someone might genuinely use it.

• Coffee being brewed rather than simply sitting beside the bag.
• A mixer poured into a finished cocktail.
• Chocolate worked into a dessert.
• A beautiful glass filled with the drink it was made for.

If you already have a recipe or creative brief, I can work from that. If not, we can agree on the look and direction of the shoot together.

And importantly, the photographs can be created entirely for your own channels.

They do not have to appear on Combine Good Flavors.

Want to Include Combine Good Flavors Too?

For products that genuinely fit the site, we can turn the photography project into a wider brand collaboration. That might include a sponsored feature on Combine Good Flavors, newsletter exposure, selected social content, or short-form video depending on what makes sense for the campaign.

So there are really two ways we can work together:

Photography only
You need images for your own brand, blog, or publication.

Photography + Combine Good Flavors
You want the images together with an editorial feature and exposure through my platform.

We can keep it as simple or as involved as the project needs to be.

Coffee Photography

Coffee deserves its own mention because it is one of the subjects I know particularly well. I’m an SCA Brewing Professional, with additional sensory and barista training, so I understand what is happening in the cup as well as what is happening in front of the camera. I especially enjoy working with coffee roasters, brewing equipment, grinders, glassware, syrups, milk alternatives, and other specialty coffee products.

Pour-over, espresso, iced coffee, lattes, coffee cocktails: this is very much my territory.

What About Recipe Development?

I still develop recipes for selected collaborations, particularly coffee drinks, cocktails, and sweets that are a natural fit for Combine Good Flavors. But you do not need to commission a new recipe to work with me. If you already have the recipe or concept, I am more than happy to start there.

How It Works

We start with the basics: what you need photographed, the overall look, how many finished images you need, where you plan to use them, and your timeline.

From there, I take care of the preparation, styling, photography, and editing. For projects that also include Combine Good Flavors, we agree on the editorial and promotional parts before the shoot begins.

Brief → Preparation → Styling & Shooting → Editing & Delivery → Optional Publication

Image Usage

Before we start, we also agree on where the finished photographs will be used. That might include your website, blog, newsletter, organic social media, ecommerce, print, or a larger campaign. Usage and licensing are quoted according to the project, so everything is clear before the work begins.
