– Blackberries (fresh or frozen) – Raspberries (fresh or frozen) – Vodka, unflavored (or white rum for a smoother taste) – Granulated sugar – Water – Vanilla pod

Combine raspberries, blackberries, vanilla, and vodka in a preserving jar.

let it infuse in a dark place for 1-2 weeks, shaking it occasionally.

Once the infusion time is up, create a simple syrup, using water and sugar.

Step 4

Strain the infused vodka to remove the fruit solids.

Step 5

Gently press the berries to extract all the flavorful liquid.

Step 6

Add the simple syrup.

Step 7

Combine well.

Step 8

Fill into a preserving bottle.
