Beat
1 egg yolk
and
1 tbsp powdered sugar
with a hand mixer until pale and creamy.

Add
1 ½ oz Maraschino
and mix again until smooth.

Heat
½ cup Milk
in a small saucepan until hot (do not boil).
½ cup Milk
Pour the egg-maraschino mixture into a heatproof glass.
Slowly pour the hot milk over and stir quickly to combine.
Serve warm and enjoy as is—no garnish needed!
