A Cortado is a beautifully balanced Spanish coffee made with equal parts espresso and steamed milk. This recipe shows you how to create the perfect cortado at home, complete with tips for the best flavor and presentation.
Brew a double shot (2 oz Espresso / 60 ml) of espresso using an espresso machine directly into the serving glass or a pitcher. Alternatively, brew strong coffee with a Moka pot to make 2 oz.

Heat 2 oz Milk (60 ml) to about 140°F (60°C). Create a silky texture with just a light layer of microfoam using a steaming wand, electric frother, or stovetop frother.
